Artist Spotlight: Gigantic Nghtmre
Posted on: November 6, 2019
One of the best nightmares you’ll have, Gigantic Nghtmre is a set the see! One of Colorado’s staple EDM acts, Big Gigantic, has teamed up with trap and dubstep hero, Nghtmre, for a one of a kind, funky yet bass-heavy B2B! Big Gigantic, formed by drummer, Jeremy Salken, and Saxophonist and producer, Dominic Lalli, have been creating a fusion of funky, hip hop influenced beats since the late 2000’s and have pioneered a type of electronic music that marries live instruments with computer based sounds ever so seamlessly. The duo have created a massive community around themselves nationwide and have been selling out their own headlining Red Rocks Festival, Rowdytown, since 2012! Not only do these guys care deeply about their music, but they care about the difference it can make around the world. In 2016, Big Gigantic created their own organization, ‘A Big Gigantic Difference,’ which donates a percentage of ticket sales to a local non profit in the area they are performing. To perfectly match this Gigantic duos sound, the multi-genre prodigy NGHTMRE is coming in to add some heat to the equation. The famed bass artist has been making his rounds around the world, touring with Los angeles artist Slander, with their collaboration turned record label ‘Gud Vibrations’. NGHTMRE, some say got his premier in the EDM community in 2015, when Skrillex played his single “Street” on mainstage at Ultra Music Festival. When the track went on to be one of the biggest trap hits that summer, Nghtmre raised the charts, appearing on Diplo’s Mad Decent Label, and a growing international superstar. Since then, Nghtmre has been on fire, dropping tracks like ‘Frontlines’ with Zeds Dead, and collabing with other major artists such as Dillion Francis and Flux Pavillion. With both of these artists making waves in the music world, this B2B is set to be a tsunami of grooves and heavy hitters at Decadence Colorado on December 30th!
